Halloween breakfast supports scholarship program
The Woman's Division of the Hampton Roads Chamber of Commerce, Chesapeake hosted a pancake breakfast on Halloween morning at a local restaurant. The volunteer members, in a wide array of costumes, provided a wonderful breakfast of pancakes, sausage and beverage for several hundred folks.
The profits from the event will support the scholarship program for the Women's Division. Each year, an outstanding senior from one of the Chesapeake high schools is the recipient as well as a woman returning to the workforce who is attending Tidewater Community College.
